ENRICHMENT OF APATITE-BEARING IRON ORE BY MAGNETIC SEPARATION AND FLOTATION

چکیده

In this study, enrichment possibility of apatite-bearing iron ore sample was investigated to obtain and phosphate concentrates, separately. It determined that the raw contains 35.75% Fe 5.36 P2O5. Magnetite from can be enriched with low field strength wet magnetic separators, apatite magnetite residues by flotation. For purpose, ground minus 106 m size then subjected separation following According experimental result, a concentrate containing 63.55% 0.65% P205, concentrates 25.33% P2O5 6.45%Fe were obtained. The results show there are still difficulties in obtaining iron-containing concentrate. is concluded it difficult separate phosphorus minerals each other, probably due complex mineralogical composition poor mineral liberation ore.
